The Graduating Fashion Show of Satyam Fashion Institute-VISTA 2016 presented the collection of its budding designers at the capital last week.
The designs that denoted beauty, purity, clarity and royalty, were a great mix of creativity and hard work put together by the graduating designers. The students went through two tasking months to bring out their designs to its final look; a journey that included finalizing designs, fabrics, embroideries and the entire presentation for the graduating show.
The students worked in groups of two or three and were mentored by Dr Mitali Goswami, Neetu Malhotra and ace designer Niket Mishra, who consistently helped them throughout the development of their ranges.
Interestingly, to test the look of the range the students were made to create muslin toils of all the design in their collection thus eliminating any mistakes. They experimented with a variety of materials to bring their designs to life, using both traditional handicraft techniques and progressive technology.
The enthusiastic, young and budding designers from the umbrella of Satyam Fashion Institute presented their collections under various themes and the winners for the show were-
