The 29th edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2017, in association with Maybelline New York, is all set to raise the style bar with 16 fresh faces, which will put their best foot forward, at the upcoming edition. The event will be held from March 15 -18th, in the capital at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road.

The eminent jury comprising Veteran Designers such as JJ Valaya, Rina Dhaka, Varun Bahl, Gautam Rakha, Fashion Choreographers Asha Kochhar and Vidyun Singh and Saumya Rathore.  Amazon shortlisted the bevy of beauties, from a nationwide search of close to 200 aspiring models, brought together by their passion and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be an integral part of Asia’s most exuberant fashion and trade event. Models were evaluated on grace, self-belief, attitude, elegance and an endearing persona.

Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “It was heartening to see an overwhelming turnout of participants and the immense capabilities they displayed. I would like to thank the distinguished FDCI jury for enabling these greenhorns to embark on a testing journey to success. The #GETNOTICED campaign is our way to add newness by incorporating fresh faces into the existing pool of models, in turn, making new stars of tomorrow.”

This season, Huawei ran a social media contest ‘Hunt for the Face of Honor’, in collaboration with the FDCI and shortlisted 26 young aspirants, to be a part of the model auditions. Six of the final shortlisted contestants were chosen to walk the ramp for the ‘Honor Show’ as part of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2017.
