Abhimanyu The Fastest Feet at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon the latest show, a third in the series of international Broadway style musical performed live on stage premiered last night. The pilot show witnessed a jam-packed audience and took off amidst great excitement.

“Abhimanyu has been a labour of love for me. It has been a long and eventful journey since I conceived the idea, finally leading me to this day of its spectacular debut on such a grand stage. I thank each and every one of those, who have made this day possible. I am sure that the show will captivate and mesmerise the audience and that everybody will enjoy watching it as much as we have enjoyed working on the musical,” announced, Nrityashree Pt. Sandeep Mahavir, who has produced and directed the show along with Monty Shah of AMS Events. Sandeep belongs to a traditional family of musicians and vocalists from the Jaipur Gharana.

Its grand and exciting to the core, the story of Abhimanyu The Fastest Feet, revolves around an Indian artist, how he manages to rise above all and reach a global platform to represent his culture and make his family and nation proud. The show chiefly presents two dance forms, Classical Indian Kathak and Hip-hop, artistically merged together with a remarkable music. The captivating journey of Abhimanyu from the colourful land of Rajasthan to the international platform is brought alive by songs sung by Udit Narayan, Shankar Mahadevan, Daler Mehendi, Javed Ali, Dinesh Mahavir and Anvesha.

“The journey of Abhimanyu The Fastest Feet is mostly shown by different authentic dance forms and music by artists and actors who are actually skilled in the art and are not merely acting out the characters. I am sure this stunning show will appeal to our visitors and guests who will take pride in being Indian after watching Abhimanyu on stage,” said Anumod Gagan, Managing Director, Kingdom of Dreams.

After two most successful shows, ‘Zangoora, The Gypsy Prince’ and ‘Jhumroo, Celebrating the Spirit of Kishore Kumar,’ this is the third musical show by Kingdom of Dreams, which matches up to its grandeur and extravaganza, nonetheless!

  1. After enjoying ‘Abhimanyu’ at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon, last month I have been mesmerised by the Sufi- influenced song by the ‘twins'(?), Anvesha and Dinesh Mahavir. It is sung by both of them kneeling down and dancers whirling about, around them. Please let me know the name of that song and how I might obtain the soundtrack. So far it has been impossible to get any information.
