Triveni Gallery presents ‘Yugen’ a Solo Art Exhibition by Ana Jain, on view from 23rd of May till 1st of June 2019 at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.
The exhibition showcases a body of work that represents those moments when how you feel transcends description, and you wonder how limiting language could be. ‘Yugen’ refers to an emotion that is so deeply experienced by us, yet we cannot publicly objectify it. When asked about her art exhibition, Ana says, “These artworks express my moments of Yugen, and through them I wish to evoke those emotions and communicate it to those who have a feeling of it.”
Ana is a Delhi based contemporary artist. She is an ex-advertising professional, and has worked with some of the best brands of India. The ‘Yugen’ art exhibition will be showcasing a broad variety of work, including watercolour, acrylic, and mix media work on paper and canvas. Ana brings her sense of aesthetics and design to create art that is not just visually appealing, but also intense and thought provoking.
She works with various mediums depending on whether she’s feeling fluid or more experimental in terms of texture and form. Her works represent her thoughts and energy at the moment she created them. Her works are open to interpretation by the viewer according to their life experiences, memories, emotions & feelings, and how they relate to them.
