GlobalFashionStreet brings you Fashion designer Amit Behki Couture collection for men in association with Porsche
Rich, opulent and magnificent, the couture collection by Delhi Based Men’s designer Amit Behki, was all that and much more. A showcase of 32 designs that walked the evening presented a glitzy fusion of traditional and contemporary couture wear for men.
The wedding collection SS ’16 for men was presented with a backdrop of ultra-luxurious Porsche machines that boasted of nothing less than chaste opulence. Held at the Porsche showroom, Gurgaon, the collection had all its audiences in awe of the richly crafted garments.
And as the designer puts it, the colours are more important for men rather than the design. He says if the colours are selected right then half of the job is done. For SS ’16 under the brand name, Creative Stop, Behki launched different dresses in eight colours for each occasion of the different wedding ceremonies and even some corporate wear. From off whites, beige, gold to flamboyant colours like wine and green, the most ‘in’ colour for the grooms.
The collection featured range of three- piece suits, tuxedos, Sherwani for men which are classy and unpredictable at the same time. Behki, true to his trademark of innovative, elaborate and lavish designs, showcased the affluent designs in varied styles.
“It was a Royal affaire. A classic collection for Indian men with good regal taste,” said entrepreneur Sonal Jindal.
The event was well attended by the who’s who of the capital’s social circle, including Actor Yuri, socialite Ramola Bachhan, Jewelery Designer Praveen Goyal, Dr. Varun Katyal, Designer Anu P.D., Aamer Zakir and choreographed by Liza Verma.
“Being a designer for ethnic clothing, I always felt a kind of shortage for good clothes for men in the fashion world. Though the clothes were traditional and subdued, the new colours like sea greens and deep reds made a stunning difference and I loved the Anarkali for men. It was a great show with a great combination of stylish cars and stylish clothes,” said Fashion Designer Amit Talwar, present at the show.
And as Behki puts it, “Putting the ‘art in smart’, garments for groom by Creative Stop, provide you comfort and style at the same time. There is an exclusive range of collection to choose from; you can customize them as per the occasion and your preferences as well.”
