She Kept her eyes planted firmly on the goal, and just kept taking the next step towards completing it. If she wasn’t sure which way to do something, she tried both ways and see which works better. She was aware that When you compete against others, it’s easy to emphasize winning over self-improvement. However, when you compete against yourself, you both win.
As her coach, who was the first one to hold her hand through this journey, the biggest quality i saw in Manushi Chhillar is her Humbleness. She’s never let success go to her head. She believes that humility is a sign of strength, not weakness.
She believes that People with humility possess an inner peace. They’re modest about their achievements, grounded in their values, and they have nothing to prove to others. They’re down to earth, comfortable in their own skin, and quietly proud. Humble people shift their focus from taking to giving, from talking about themselves to listening to others, from hoarding the credit to deflecting the praise, and from being a ‘know-it-all’ to knowing there’s so much more in life worth learning.
There’s no ego, no pretense, and certainly no gamesmanship. Humble people are authentic. As C.S. Lewis said, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.” Manushi is a complete package.
She is not only intelligent, talented but also a wonderful soul. Her biggest strength is her focus and willpower. Inspite of her hard curriculum as a doctor, she managed her time excellently to Pursue her dream of wearing the blue crown. I am extremely proud of her achievement.
I will never forget how she touched my feet the moment she came out of the airport at her homecoming after winning Miss India and how she acknowledged me to everyone.
I am extremely Proud of my mentee , and believe that it must be my good karma that she touched my life. I wish her the very best in her future endeavours .Many Blessings!
