It made me wonder, it made me think,
Why don’t we live a life with a smile on every blink?
What is it that keeps them charged?
Why their happiness is never parked?
They fight like never before,
And soon they are on the go,
How we should forgive and forget,
They possess this wonderful asset.
When they want something they need,
They go all the way, shout, scream and even plead,
Nothing seems more important to them ,
They run after it, like it’s a Gem!
They either get it on their hand ,
OR settle an agreement on how it will land !!
When I look at their focus and setup,
I wonder why we ever give up.
When they are sad they cry out loud
It doesn’t matter , if they are in or out
What other’s think , is not what they bother
They write and think as they are the author
They run to you, if they are scared,
Hug you tight, if they need that care
Each emotion is shared as is
There is nothing else but sheer bliss.
They get up the moment they feel fresh,
Live every moment without a rush,
Bubbled with energy, they play around
Even a bathroom is there play ground
When we have kids, we think it’s time to teach!
Now is the opportunity to start to preach
However only then, if we begin to learn,
We’ll live our life without a concern!
We teach them to stand every time they fall,
But to my surprise, they are the ones who always stand tall.
No matter how much we grow and progress
I hope we always have the little child alive inside us!
